Pony Races!

Grandpa Lannon came to town this weekend for his HS reunion. Neither of us had been to a horse race so Mom and Dad took us to Del Mar on Sunday. I got to spend all day in my sling with grandpa - boy did the ladies like that (and me too!)!! Even strangers wanted to take our picture.

Back to Work

After over 4 months, mommy had to return to work on Wednesday, July 22nd. I knew something was up so I woke up at 2am tuesday night and comforted her ( I haven't had to wake up in the middle of the night in a long time!). I miss my mommy but how fun is it to now hang out with my daddy all day! Mommy comes home at lunchtime most of the time - which is great.


Did I mention mommy gets to work from home twice per week? I love to sit and chat with her!

Fourth of July

For the fourth we celebrated by - you guessed it - going to the beach! Nora was asleep well before any of the fireworks began, so we watched the Mission Bay fireworks shows on television and heard the booms of the Del Mar one in the distance.

Beach Time

Its beach season! Finally the coast is sunny and warm. So today we took Nora to the beach to hang out. Nora loved it - well except for daddy putting her feet in the cold water.


The water was cold - but nora didn't seem to mind until....(see that wave behind?)

June 21, 2009 Happy 1st Anniversary!

Wow time flies! Its hard to believe 1 year ago we were walking down the aisle saying 'I do'. This year we need a baby sitter so we can go catch a movie and dinner. How times have changed! Here's some pics of Mia and Nora relaxing and watching some TV...

.....and pink, and yellow, and blue! About a month ago we decided to give cloth diapers a try. Turns out we love them! They aren't like the one's our parents used - this new breed of diapers are super easy - the only extra effort is washing them (and hey, the washing machine is SOO much closer than walking downstairs to the trash!)

This weekend while Ryan and his dad were golfing I was reading to Nora her favorite book "Peek - a - who" and she began laughing for the first time!

I can't believe Nora is 2 months old already! She has grown and changed so much since we brought her home. She now smiles, coo's, and stares in amazement at her mommy and daddy! Below are some pictures from the last 8 weeks....
